The new Virginia Unemployment Insurance System website was brought online late Wednesday. According to the Virginia Employment Commission the new system includes a number of enhancements to better assist customers, including online access to documents, an improved user experience with dynamic claims filing, and a customer dashboard for claims filing status and other inquiry information. The interactive voice response system is again available to file claims. Have your PIN number ready and call 800-897-5630. Those who missed claims last week can now file online.
