On Veterans Day a new exhibit opens at the Virginia War Memorial. It’s called “Who They Were: Lives Worth Remembering” and it memorializes 32 men and women for making the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Officials say the exhibit uses personal photos and items, letters and artifacts to better tell the stories about them so they are more than simply names on the walls. The Commonwealth’s Veterans Day Ceremony begins at 11:00 a.m.
