The Virginia, Maryland & Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives will be accepting applications from high school seniors who intend to pursue higher education studies. According to the Rappahannock Record the association provided closed to 800 scholarships over the last 20 years worth more than $800,000. Any high school or homeschooled senior graduating in 2022, and whose primary residence is served by a VMD member cooperative, is eligible to apply starting in February.
