West Point Public Schools receives a Virginia grant to implement career and technical education programs to prepare students for high-wage, in-demand careers. The
$250,000 will go toward expanding access to dual enrollment and CTE pathways programs culminating in associate degrees in health sciences and engineering technology. This expands an existing partnership netween West Point, Mathews and Middlesex County public schools along with Rappahannock Community College. 7 school divisions across the commonwealth shared in $1.5 million in total awards.
