Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors Passes “First Amendment Sanctuary County” Resolutiion

The Westmoreland County Board of Supervisors passes a resolution declaring the county as a “First Amendment Sanctuary County”. According to Westmoreland News the resolution was sent to the board by Rhon Nelson who says he believes a stand needs to be taken locally as rights and liberties are under attack at the state and federal levels. County Attorney Richard Stuart said the resolution is seen as an expression of the Board’s support for the community’s basic freedoms.
