Callao will be getting a new park thanis to a land donation. According to the Northumberland Echo the Burgess family is donating 2.5 acres to the Callao Hometown Community Association once a new survey and appraisal is completed. The property is located behind the ABC store and has access to Route 360. CHCA officials say they will start a park fundraising campaign early next year for the design, land development, construction and amenities.
