Mathews Memorial Library Director Bette Dillehay is appointed as Mathews County’s interim administrator. According to the Gazette-Journal the Board of Supervisors approved the appointment by a 3-2 vote at a special called meeting on Wednesday. Dillehay will replace Sandy Wenner who announced last week he was resigning as of Tuesday. She will hold the position until the new Board of Supervisors members are seated next month.
