A driver is trapped after crashing into a Hayes convenience store last Friday. Police say it happened at Lyn’s Mini-Mart in the 8800 block of Guinea Road. The mini-van hit the store’s front porch but that stopped it from going inside the store itself. First responders moved the vehicle from the building to get the driver out then the individual was taken to the hospital for unspecified injuries. The accident’s cause is being investigated.
