A Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office investigator received the “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year” award from the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #26 for actions he took last May. Deputy J. Holt helped rescue a woman who was trapped on her car after it rolled over. Holt managed to lift the car up enough so the woman could get to safety. Holt was previously awarded for saving the lives of 2 individuals from a burning house in March of 2020.
