Mark your calendar for Jan. 29 as that’s when the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society will hold its “Phantom of the Shelter Gala and Auction”. This event will be virtual and tickets are now on sale. According to the Gazette-Journal the organization’s “Phantom of the Shelter Matching Gift Challenge” is under way with donations through Jan. 31 with the goal of raising $100,000 which will be matched by an anonymous donor.
