The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society is holding its Phantom of the Shelter Matching Gift Challenge from now until Jan. 31. The organization’s goal is to raise $100,000 so they can receive an equal amount from an anonymous donor. Donations can be made by logging on to gmhumensociety.org/donate, by calling the Society at 804-693-5520 or by mail. The annual Phantom of the Shelter Gala and Auction takes place Jan. 29 and will be a virtual event.
