The Lancaster County Sheriff ’s Office asks the community for cash donations to its Deputy Santa Program which helps kids in need to have a great Christmas. Communications Supervisor Amanda Haynie tells the Rappahannock Record the kids are chosen by sheriff’s deputies who not only want to be sure they have gifts under the tree but also grow and learn to help others. Donations can be made by contacting the Sheriff’s Office.
