This year’s Mathews Christmas Parade is this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. According to the Gazette-Journal grand marshals Ron and Debbie Lambert will kick off the parade at Thomas Hunter Middle School with the theme of “A Community Christmas”. Organizers say it will be a celebration of the community coming back together after a difficult couple of years. After the parade, Santa Claus will visit with children at the Mathews Visitor and Information Center until 5 o’clock.
