The 2022 Mathews Chili Cook-Off will have a different organizer than in the past. According to the Gazette-Journal the Mathews Rotary Club will manage the 7th annual event after the organization learned the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad couldn’t continue in that role. Entrants compete to win the Judge’s Award and the People’s Choice Award plus raise money for charity. The event will be Feb. 12 and tickets are $15.
