The Mercer Place Apartments in Kilmarnock will soon have a new owner. According to the Rappahannock Record the Partners for Lancaster County Schools Foundation is turning over ownership of the E. Church St. apartment complex to Bay Aging. The 16-unit complex was built to serve teachers, nurses, law enforcement, and healthcare workers and Bay Aging officials say that won’t change under their ownership. The ownership change also comes with provisions to keep intact the original intended purpose of the property.
