Upgrades to the Middlesex Elementary School’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning system began over the Thanksgiving holiday. According to the Southside Sentinel the old HVAC units were dismantled and removed then 2 of the new units were installed. The remaining units are to be installed over the Christmas break. In March the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors voted to hire Honeywell Industries to do the work which cost close to $1.7 million.
