A federal grant of nearly $800,000 will pay for upgrades at the Middle Peninsula Regional Airport. According to the Gazette-Journal the money is allocated in the recently-passed infrastructure bill which is providing airports throughout the commonwealth with a total of nearly $400 million. The airport is governed by an authority with members representing Gloucester, King and Queen and King William counties, and the Town of West Point.
