The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors votes to join a Virginia General Assembly lawsuit against manufacturers and distributors of opioids. According to the Southside Sentinel the county could receive up to $80,000 from the suit which the GA filed in partnership with other state. The board voted 4-1 on 2 resolutions – one agreeing to be part of the settlement and the other to accept the proceeds.
