Northam Recognized VMRC For COVID-19 Service

Governor Ralph Northam recognizes the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps Volunteers for their assistance in testing and vaccinating the public during COVID-19. MVRC volunteers were first deployed to a vaccination clinic just over a year ago and since then served over 490,000 hours which is equal to $21.4 million. Northam issued a proclamation saying the Commonwealth could not have responded to the pandemic as well as it has without the VMRC volunteers.
