Virginia Joins Multi-State EV Commercial Vehicle Agreement

Virginia enters a multi-state agreement to require 30% of new trucks and buses to be electric and zero-emission by 2030. The agreement raises that requirement to 100% by 2050. Gov. Ralph Northam announced Virginia’s participation in the consortium comprising 15 other states and Washington, D.C.at a event hosted by the Electrification Coalition. Northam says Virginia is ranked among the top states in the policies and actions taken to advance electric transportation.
