Virginia is allocating $34 million for public colleges and universities to develop resources and professional development programs for K-12 reading and mathematics teachers. The funding addresess unfinished learning through the development of high-quality, evidence-based instructional resources, materials, and professional development. All public two and four-year higher education institutions are eligible to apply for the grants, and private institutions may participate in partnership with public institutions. Application deadline is Jan. 28.
