Youngkin Names Education Secretery

Virginia Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin named Aimee Guidera to be secretery of eduction. She owns education consulting firm Guidera Strategy and founded advocacy firm Data Quality Campaign. Youngkin says he believes Guidera stands united with him in his belief that parents “deserve to have a voice” in the education of their children. Education and more specifically critical race theory was a key issue for Youngkin’s campaign where he denied Terry McAuliffe’s bid to again be governor.
