Virginia’s average gas price rose by a nickel over the past week according to price tracking website GasBuddy. The average is $3.20 a gallon which is also a nickel higher than a month ago and around 87 cents more than a year ago. The lowest price is $2.89 a gallon while the highest is just under $4 a gallon. Meanwhile the national average for a gallon of regular is up close to 3 cents at $3.34.
