The “Kilmarnock Restaurant Week” program is growing and has a new name. According to the Southside Sentinel the “Eat Like A Local” program is now operating throughout the lower Northern Neck and into the Middle Peninsula plus Middlesex County. Economic development coordinator Sharon Phillips says in addition to dining at local establishments it’s also a good time to buy gift cards or certificates. The program starts Friday and runs through the end of the month.
