Kilmarnock Police officers will get body cameras now that a $16,000 federal grant is awarded. According to News on the Neck the money will be added to a $10,000 anonymous donation to help defray the more than $62,000 price tag. That price is locked in until Jan. 24 so officials say the federal funding arrived just in time. The police department received 2 other grants being used for other expenses including educational items.
