An antique electric chair and other items used in Virginia for executions are now donated to the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. Officials say more than 265 executions were carried out using the chair. Also donated is the medical gurney used for executing people by lethal injection. Virginia executed more than 1,300 people which is more than in any other state. The death penalty was abolished last March.
