It’s “School Choice Week” In Virginia

Gov. Glenn Youngkin proclaims this week as “School Choice Week” to highlight the importance of school choice for Virginia’s students and parents. Youngkin says the goal is that every student will graduate and be ready to go to college or begin a career and without choice in public education, that goal would be difficult to achieve. The governor said Virginia will raise standards and teacher pay plus invest $150 million in charter schools.
