Kilmanock Moves Town Elections To November

Kilmarnock will now hold town elections in November on the same day as the General Election. According to News on the Neck the Town Council took the action after the General Assembly passed legislation in 2021 to allow moving election dates. A public hearing was held before the vote but there were no participants. The change means elections for the mayor and the three members of the governing body elected in 2018 will be held in November.
