Lancaster County’s broadband internet project is continuing to make progress. According to the Rappahannock record the county’s contractor Atlantic Broadband completed preliminary field work and construction is to begin this month. Right now 120 customers are connected to wireless service from Broadband Telecom Services on a tower behind the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office. BTS is working to attract more customers within the 5-mile radius that the tower can reach.
