The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office presented a $4,101 donation to Rappahannock General Hospital’s Outpatient Infusion Center. According to the Rappahannock Record the money came from the department’s no shave fundraiser where deputies paid $25 to skip shaving. The drive was inspired by Major Bill Webb’s treatment for cancer and others made donations to the fundraiser. The money goes to the center’s Cancer Indigent Fund, which covers transportation, food, rent, or other assistance to those undergoing treatment.
