The Mathews County Board of Supervisors conducts its 2022 organizational meeting on Thursday in the historic courthouse. According to the Gazette-Journal the board will elect a new chair and vice chair plus make appointments of board clerk and deputy clerk as well as to various boards and commissions. Other administrative tasks will take place and there will be a closed session for employment matters. The meeting begins at 9:00 a.m.
