The Northumberand County Sheriff’s Office reminds residents about its “Safe & Secure” program. It’s where a person calls in and speaks with a Dispatcher each morning and each afternoon. If the person does not call and cannot be reached, a Deputy will be dispatched to the residence to check their welfare.
