Northern Neck Electric Cooperative completed service restoration efforts after the storm that dropped 8-12″ of wet, heavy snow. Officials say damage was significant bringing down nearly a thousand trees resulting in poles being split bringing down lines and destroying equipment. At the peak over 8,000 members were without power. Restoration work was finished last Saturday and NNEC crews then went to help Rappahannock Electric Cooperative crews with their outages.
