99th District Delegate Margaret Ransone is named Chair for the Privileges and Elections committee for the 2022-2023 General Assembly. The committee considers legislation related to election laws, constitutional amendments, gubernatorial appointments, and campaign finance. Ransone served on the committee from 2012-2019 and during that time chaired the Elections Subcommittee from 2014 to 2017 and was Vice-Chair of Elections from 2018 to 2019. Republicans took the majority in the House last November.
