Rappahannock Electric Cooperative reports that just over 100 members are without power following Winter Storm Frida. At its peak more than 98,000 homes and businesses were without service. Officials say over 630 power poles were broken and the remaining outages are taking longer to complete because in some cases multiple poles need to be replaced. All service should be restored by the end of today. The coop is monitoring the potential for more wintry weather over the weekend.
