A Safe Boating Course offered by the Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron takes place on 2 consecutive Saturdays starting Jan. 15 at the Squadron’s Chesapeake Commons classroom in Kilmarnick. According to the Southside Sentinel the course will qualify students for the Virginia State boating education requirement and graduates will receive a Virginia boating education card.
