The Town of Urbanna is getting a new community swimming pool. According to the Southside Sentinel it is expected to open by 2024 and is 25 meters long with 6 competition lanes. The project includes a splash pad with a spray tower in a shallow area. The town is budgeting $1.5 million for the project and hired a Charlottesville-based company to oversee the project. That company also developed Kilmarnock’s town park.
