The Urbanna Town Council holds a public hearing tomorrow on building a new pier at the end of Virginia Street. According to the Southside Sentinel the hearing at 7:00 p.m. precedes an anticipated vote by the Council on Feb. 10. A permit was issued several years ago and expires this year after being extended several times. The cost for the pier is estimated at $50,000.
