The Virginia Department of Health is sending text messages to those who haven’t yet received a COVID-19 booster shot. Officials say they want people to know the messages are not a scam and contain a link to the department’s vaccine scheduling page. The messages are being sent out over the next 30 days and will not be sent to those who haven’t yet been vaccinated.
