VDOC Suspends In Person Visitation

In-person visitation at all Virginia Department of Corrections facilities is suspended until Jan. 28 due to an increase in COVID-19 cases. Video visitation is available in most facilities. According to News8 more than 1,200 inmates currently have COVID-19 along with over 730 staff members. The department reported 57 total inmate deaths and 5 staff deaths attributed to the coronavirus.
