The Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services reminds residents that even though the 2022 Open Enrollment on the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace is closed, you can apply for Virginia Medicaid all year. Virginia Medicaid coverage includes doctor and hospital visits, prescriptions, X-rays, and more. The department’s online screening tool will ask you six questions about your family size and income to help you find out if you may be eligible for coverage.
