The Virginia Department of Elections reports audits of 2 randomly chosen House of Delegates elections from 2021 are confirmed accurate with more than 99% confidence. The so-called Risk Limiting audits are conducted each year to prove ballot scanners and voting system software accurately reported the results of an election. The audit was conducted between Jan. 3 and Jan. 20. An audit report will be released to the public in March.
