Virginia gas prices dropped just under a penny a gallon over the past week according to price tracking website GasBuddy. The avverage for a gallon of regular is now $3.15. That’s nearly 8 cents a gallon lower than a month ago but $1.03 a gallon higher than a year ago.The national average is also down close to a penny at $3.32. which is down 9 cents from a month ago and $1.02 a gallon higher than a year ago.
