The Westmoreland Players receives 2 grants totalling nearly $18,000. According to the Rappahannock Record the grants are from the Mason and Lula Cole Charitable Trust and the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Officials say the money will help the community theater group recover from losses due to COVID-19 closures. Performances restarted last month. The next performance entitled “Moonlight and Magnolias” takes place starting Feb. 26.
