Governor Glenn Youngkin names Angela Sailor to be Virginia’s Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Sailor has more than 20 years’ experience delivering measurable achievements in both in-house and advisory roles working with government, corporations, nongovernmental organizations, and non-profit organizations. According to Youngkin’s office Sailor will have a stronger and more focused role on promoting ideas, policies, and economic opportunities for disadvantaged Virginians, including those living with disabilities and bringing those of different faiths together.
