“Cocktails-To-Go” Law Entended

The House of Delegates passed a bill extending Virginia’s “cocktails-to-go” law until July of 2024. The bill was to expire this July. It was enacted to help support hospitality businesses sustaining negative economic impacts due to COVID-19. So far 35 states enacted similar legislation allowing mixed drinks to be ordered for carry-out. Around half of those states made the law permanent.
