The Essex County School Board cancels all current COVID-19 prevention strategies during a special meeting held on Monday to address Governor Glenn Youngkin’s mask wearing executive order. According to 8 News the motion was approved was 3 to 2. It also affects testing, quarantining, contact tracing, specialized cleaning on buses, within the schools, and in all school facilities. It also calls for adopting a personal choice policy for COVID-19 protection.
