Washington & Lee High School went into lockdown last Friday after an incident occurred involving a gun. According to Westmoreland News 2 students attacked another student and the weapon came loose during that struggle. District officials say they immediately enacted emergency protocols and the weapon was secured without incident. Police say charges are pending and one juvenile was taken into custody.
