GVFRS Unveils Planws For New Fire Station

The Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad unveiled plans to build a new station on Main St. According to the Gazette-Journal the department will apply for a over $12 million construction loan with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to build the station on property acquired 3 years ago. Fire Chief J.D. Clements ways the department will also need financial support from the county to get the new station built.
