A one-car crash Tuesday in Mathews County takes the life of the driver. Police say Chad Andrew Greene was on Route 611 near Route 14 when he ran off the road to the left. The car went airborne and then hit several trees. Green was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene. Investigators say excessive speed was a factor in the crash.
